The Environment

Creating a stimulating environment for your cat helps them in several ways.
- Setting up an engaging environment provides mental stimulation.
- It keeps her mind active so she doesn’t create mischief due to boredom.
- Adding vertical expansion like shelving or cat towers/tress give cats the option to watch for other cats.
- Perching areas can alleviate stress if they have a safe area to go to. Insecure cats now have a place where they can feel safe.
- Toys that mimic prey, such as stuffed mice or ball and track toys will help keep a cat occupied and mentally stimulated.
